Autumn's Crisp Weather and Crunchy Orange Leaves

It has been Autumn for a short while now, and the crispy fallen orange leaves that I adore about this time of year - have all met the torrential rain that is our London weather.
Despite the cold crisp weather and the sight of my own breath as white clouds coming out of my nose and mouth - Autumn is an amazingly transforming time of year as this Inspiration Board so brilliantly demonstrates.

Orange, brown and golds are the colours of this lustrous part of the year. This inspiration board illustrates the possibilities of an autumn wedding so Indulge!

Alternative Style Wedding Rings

Ring 1, Ring 2, Ring 3, Ring 4, Ring 5, Ring 6

I know what your thinking. These Are Rings - there's nothing Alternative about them! Well I should specifically mention that their style are styles which few of us would really ever think about. I know I wouldn't!

Everyone knows what their wedding ring and especially their engagement ring will look like! We just hope our significant others know that too!! Don't you just Wish Men Could Read Minds! Would make life so much easier. It seems we are getting a little off topic here! ...

So with the Alternative Month in mind I have rampaged Google images as much as I possibly could and out popped the above! My favourite is probably the first Knot type ring - definitely showing some symbolism! But the one next to it is superb! (Ahem Ahem)

Keeping you updated on the latest and possibly the most Diverse range of Wedding Style Tips!

Alternative Wedding Centrepieces

Well I SAY!! I must have the best job in the whole entire world! Look at what I unearthed. Who said there's only one type of centrepiece for a wedding .. Flowers?! I see very few flowers in this post!

When a guest of yours walks in to your reception venue it is a must that you capture all their senses. From the aroma of the scented candles or flowers, to the lighting and soft music welcoming them in to the eye catching centrepieces they will gaze at all night long at their table.

There are some key features to think about when it comes to your centrepieces.
1. Ensure they aren't too big so your guests can't converse with the other guests at the table
2. From a videographers point of view, ensure it doesn't cover tables and your guests faces (unless that's the theme)
3. Make it exciting to look at - and if not exciting - Make it Beautiful! So if your guests aren't amazed by how it was made or the complete concept they are glaring at how spectacular they are.

And if you are trying to create a tantalising experience for your guests try being different.
If you still feel like having nature present at your wedding have some twig trees decorated with some sequin or beaded strings or using herbs to give out that scent and look pretty. Don't be like the last eight weddings I have been to.

Alternative Wedding Cake

Anything sweet is my middle name! In spirit of the Alternative Month, here comes our next segment of Alternative Wedding Madness!

Wedding Cake symbolically stands for the couple's fertility (It's a really long story) and a general beginning of the marriage as the cutting of the cake ceremony is the first step done together as a couple.

As a Wedding Planner I come across many different couples. Some of which love the traditional three-tiered cake but some couples don't even like cake - so as a Wedding Planner its up to me to be able to cater to this. So today I share with you some Alternative Wedding Cake Idea's!

You may want to skip the cake cutting idea and just have a luxurious dessert table or a sweet table.

Ohhh the Possibilities are endless!! Bon Apetite!

Alternative Wedding Gowns

To carry on the 'Alternative' festivities .. here comes the bridal gown week!! I know everyone wants to wear the traditional white gown, but before Queen Victoria's wedding to Albert of Saxe-Coburg, white was not the first thought!

Re-invent the trend!! Be Brave!!
